Steinbeis Innovation Center Scientific Computing in Life Sciences

Steinbeis Innovation Center for Scientific Computing in Life Sciences (SCiLS) in Bremen represents the Steinbeis Innovation gGmbH, which is a non-profit organization supporting research at the interface between academic institutions and industry. SCiLS was founded in 2010 as a spin-off from the University of Bremen in order to promote its growing activities in the field of mathematical and computational solutions in life sciences. SCiLS is specialized on developing mathematical and statistical methods for specific applications in imaging with an emphasis on mass spectrometric applications, in particular, in MALDI-IMS.
